Congrats To The Climax Remix Winner

Sebastian Gautier, winner of the “Usher – Climax Remix Contest”, describes meeting Usher as “one of the three happiest moments of his life”! Gautier won a flyaway trip to meet Usher in Vegas during the iHeartRadio Music Festival and even interviewed with Entertainment Tonight! Congrats again!

“At first, I didn’t believe the email I received.” describes the 18 year-old Sebastian Gautier the moment he learned that he had won the Indaba Music: Usher – Climax Remix Contest. “Probably one of the three happiest moments of my life.”

“Indaba has been my go-to source for getting stems to play around with ever since I joined. ” says Sebastian. Based in Asker, Norway, the musician and producer was one of 8037 excited members to submit a remix of Usher‘s hit “Climax”. Usher was overwhelmed by Sebastian’s submission and explained why he chose his version: “I wanted a remix that would speak to the entire world. Climax is a very emotional record. (…) His remix gave me a feeling of that; and a lot more. (…) He definitely did an incredible job.”

Usher To Be Honored By The Let The Kids Grow Foundation

Congratulations are in order! Usher will be honored in December by the Let The Kids Grow Foundation for his contributions to teens throughout the nation. The ceremony will take place on December 1 in Beverly Hills, California. Click here to read the full article.
